How does Facebook psychologically work?

How does Facebook psychologically work?

Do you also have the same feeling that Facebook is the most entertaining whenever you are trying to escape some work you have to do. At times when you have some undone homework or any other task you have to do, you usually try to escape it somehow or to at least postpone it. At such a moment you usually check your Facebook status where you find a new comment of your picture or your older status and you very quickly get all into a discussion and stuff instead of doing your work you have to do.

Above described does not usually occur when you are bored and come to Facebook to get entertained. At that moment you often dont find anything to do there, you just browse threw loads of data that bore the hell out of you and you still cant find anything that would interest you. Indeed this does not happen always however in many cases this is what happens.

Therefor Facebook works kind off differently than you would suggest. Most of us usually go to Facebook when bored and looking for anything at least a little bit more entertaining however Facebook can not support that at this particular moment. Facebook works for you much better when you are trying to abandon some work you necessarily have to do but you are too lazy to do it or you are just not in the mood.

Can you see my point?

You are absolutely right, that is what happens to me all the time... Sometime I wish there was no Facebook literally
