When will other Windows version overcome XP
Previous versions of Windows before XP were wiped out very quickly as soon as Windows XP was released. Windows XP offered a brand new user interface, it was much more stable and had lots of new features that Windows 95, 98 or 2000 had no idea about. Domination of the market took XP how long? 1 year tops. XP was not only the best operating system ever made by that time, it was also extremely powerful in terms of system requirements. No need to buy a new PC to run XP.
Newer versions of Windows did not have that much luck so far. Everyone has his own opinion about Vista, not always this opinion is correct, however the bad word that is spread around about Vista does not help it to be sold. Fortunately there is a quicker, more stable, nicer and more user friendly version - Windows 7, yet again capable of running on slower machines. Windows 7 is on a good way to dominate the market and finally overcome Windows XP after over 9 years however will Windows 7 manage it in time before release of Windows 8?
Even though Windows 7 is a great operating system, it shall work on any computer one might own, there is slight problem with its price. Not everyone can afford it or is willing to give up XP for such high pay. Not even considering firms or schools who have over 20 computers leaving them having to spend an awful lot of money on new OS. People generally are used to XP and have no need to advance yet therefore XP is still holding the biggest usage share. Microsoft has stopped supplying Windows XP but that does not mean that legal copy of XP is no longer available.
The question now is when will Windows XP disappear or at least lose the majority of users? Will even Windows 7 manage to overcome XP before Windows 8 is released in predicted year 2012? Most probable event that will finally wipe out Windows XP is the end of this products support from Microsoft set to year 2014. As soon as XP is no longer supported an advance to a newer version is required. Still there will be XP enthusiasts who will keep working on XP no matter what but thats like 1% of the usage share, no big deal. There we go than. XP will very probably hold the majority of computers till 2014, after that who knows which system will dominate. Windows 7, hypothetical Windows 8 or god forbid Mac OS X.

Did you think, these days everyone has internet Because you have it, your friends and family has it, your colleagues at work have it and the guy you spoke yesterday to has to it likely too. Did you also think there is no one left out who would not be able to access billions of sites, articles, images, videos, music tracks, games and so on in one single click? If you did, you were very wrong. As a matter of fact you should feel lucky if you are able to read this article right now. You belong to the minority of people 25%, who have everyday access to the internet and who do not even think that it is a big deal, and how grateful they should be for it. Remaining 75% of people do not have an internet connection, many of them might have never even seen a computer in their whole life.
Obviously the most internet users are in Asia. 740 000 000 Asians are connected to the internet and can enjoy all of its benefits. You might think this value is gigantic. Its not! There are 3.8 billion people in Asia making it only every 5th person being able to go online. The highest percentage of internet usage among the particular population is naturally in North America. Almost 75% of Americans living in the northern continent go online everyday. 250 million out of 340 million. Even there you can see, there is still 90 million people who do not have internet access on daily bases, quite a lot!?
Unfortunately Africa has very bad results in terms of internet usage. Only 6.8% Africans have the internet. One internet connection has to be separated between 14 people theoretically speaking. 17 years old bug in Windows comes to surfice
In the early 90s when Windows was still running the NT 3.1 environment, since then BIOS called a function that caused a vulnerability of the whole system. Back than, it was no big deal, because the internet was in its development stage and so were the viruses. There was less than 1% of viruses and hacker than is today. The vulnerability was so well hidden that it took 17 years to be discovered. The bug basically opens door to hacker who is trying to take over control of your PC, however the door is not that easy to open. This vulnerability can not be abused remotely without previous actions to the system. The alarming fact is that even Windows 7 32 bit version is a carrier of that bug and therefore is vulnerable.
How could it get up to Windows 7?
Even though software is being developed all the time some parts of the programming code remain unchanged until it needs an update or a bug has to be removed. Apparently this particular code was not debugged well enough for 17 years. That can happen, software developers are more than familiar with so called timed bombs - pieces of software that initiate failure or vulnerability only once in a long while (for eg. 17 years).Affected systems

Link below will certainly help you solve this issue. Even though the nature of this bug is not critical it is advised to deal with it and get rid of it. Put in simple words, the affected system once healed will no longer be allowed to initiate 16 bit applications, this will solve the problem for good. (Dont worry, you are using no 16 bit application any more, those are very outdated and many of them will not even run on todays operating systems)
